About Me

I received my BA degree from Hacettepe University, Department of Graphic Design in 2011, and my MA degree in Book Design from the University of Reading, Department of Typography and Graphic Communication in 2013. I continued my doctoral studies on the history of graphic design in the same department and earned the title of Doctor in 2018 with my thesis, ‘A typographic analysis of newspapers and magazines in the Turkish Alphabet Reform (1928-1929)’. Currently, I am an assistant professor at Necmettin Erbakan University, Department of Graphic Design. I research and teach in the fields of typography, publication design and graphic design history.
